While I was inking the original sketch in pencil that I had done, my inking pen exploded all over my fingertips. So I took advantage of the situation and incorporated some smudges and flecks of ink. ‘Seitan’ is Japanese for ‘birth’. See? There’s a little party hat on its head. Seem familiar…?
