I prefer to consider the drawing from this angle, but flipping it upside-down brings out other symbolic possibilities.
I drew this one thinking about my partner, while in the height of the 2020 quarantine in response to the COVID-19 pandemic so certain elements inevitably came out. I chose to ink only part of the drawing to highlight that particular area.
It lends the drawing an almost hypnotic perspective…
