In this episode of Unmasked, I slightly revisit a previous topic (the pleasure of listening to lyrics you can’t understand), and then jump into a very long, enthusiastic discussion of ALICE NINE.’s first album, as well as their upcoming 16th Anniversary live performance.
That first album is called zekkeishoku (絶景色), and while it is likely not available digitally in your area, you can find copies of it for purchase online. It’s a truly great first album, each song having its own distinct air and personality (even coming from the same composer!), with all of them then coming together to form a greater whole that feels cohesive. That’s a good metaphor for ALICE NINE. in general!
